Taipei Day 3 Part 1

We woke early today as we were gong to visit 九份 and 陽明山國家公園.

The trip from our hotel to 九份 took about 1 hour? I can't remember. All I remember was watching the latest Jay Chou's concert in the cab haha!

And here we were, halfway half the mountains. It was super windy!

Once in the town of 九份, we went to eat. Yup! This was the first stall we went to. Tang hoon noodles with fish balls and minced meat wrapped with tau pok. Super yummy! The taste is nothing I've tried before, and you definitely cannot find this anywhere in Singapore! I forgot what the stall name is, but it's the first noodle stall on the left if you enter via the bus station entrance. They have quite a few other noodle stalls down the road.

And of course Kae was enticed by the colorful looking maltose candy. But it's really just eye candy to her. She gave up the candy just after a few minutes.

And mummy just have to try the snails and barbecued cuttlefish. Hah!

It was super crowded! Think there were lots of tourists as it was a holiday weekend for the people from Hong Kong too.

After walking for over an hour, we stopped for tea at one of the many tea houses which can be found near to the end of the street. Many will stop to have a drink while enjoying the scenic view from the tea house.

And after our little short break, we were off to our next destination of the day.
