This was my second visit to the restaurant. I didn't really remember how the food was. So I headed there with no expectations whatsoever.
Maybe it's the food we ordered, but the food is oh so good.
I had the Spruce Big Brekkie which comes with eggs (scrambles, poached or sunny side up), bacon, german sausage, roasted tomato, roasted potato, mushrooms and foccacia toast. I cannot find any fault with the dish! The portion is generous too.
Dar had the Spruce Signature Burger with hand cut chips. And it's one of the better tasting patty around town.
As for Kae, we ordered her the Banana Hotcakes which comes with honeycomb butter and blueberry syrup. This is a must order if you love hotcakes!
What better way to end the brunch with a nice cuppa?
