I accompanied Kerri to her class excursion today. And since their project theme was Rain, our destination was to the Marina Barrage!
After water play, we helped the kids get dry and dressed, and then it was time to go for the tour of the Marina Barrage. The tour taught the kids where water came from, how water/rain was collected into the reservoirs, and how the water was treated for our consumption. Though I think the kids do not quite understand everything that was told to them. The information for the Marina Barrage tours can be found here at this link.
