We went for dinner at Caphe East, which is opened by someone dar knows. The timing couldn't be more perfect as I had been craving for Viet food for a while now.
The food is authentic Viet as it's prepared by the mother-in-law of the friend, who is a Vietnamese. How much more authentic can you get?
First stop, the Goi Cuon. Best eaten when freshly out of the pan. We ordered as takeaway on another day and they did not taste as good.
Next, my Bun Cha Nem Thit Nuong, their dry rice vermicelli with grilled pork and fried spring rolls. Their secret ingredient for this dish is their homemade fish sauce. Yummy!
How can you not try their Viet coffee? We ordered their Cafe Den, which is served without condensed milk. I am loving their coffee which leaves your tongue with a bittersweet after taste.
Another must try which Kae had is their Pho Ga, vermicelli with chicken meat in their homemade broth. The broth was just delicious!
