Kerri's 4th Birthday Party at The Tiara Society

Kerri celebrated her 4th birthday with a party at The Tiara Society today. Before I get on with the photos, I would like to comment on the celebration.

Number 1: The place is very small. So one would expect the whole place to be used just for the party should there be a party booking. No, that is not the case. Only after I've paid the deposit, did I realize the next day after reading through the terms and conditions , that walk ins during the party are still welcomed. To be fair, they will update on their facebook page on what the party timings are and advise the public not to drop in at that time if possible. But hey, when it was Kerri's party day, no such updates were announced on their facebook page.

Number 2: Yes, though the place is small, but since the packages are catered for 20 children, and we are allowed to add in more kids at an additional cost, one would assume they have enough costumes for all the kids attending the party. No, that is not the case again. Kerri's guest list consists a wide range of ages, and not just 1 age group. But even with the age groups spread out evenly, there are some young guests with no costumes available in their sizes. Can you imagine their disappointment when told they would not be able to have a costume to wear to the princess party?

Number 3: The staff should be prepared to handle the kids at the party. Instead, what I saw was that they take their time and handle the early birds, while the parents who came in later had to find the costumes for their kids, and handle everything themselves at the make-up, nail paining and DIY craft stations. Seriously, in the end, only about 5-6 kids did the craft work as there were no staff attending to the other 15 kids. And they can tell me at the end of the party that they are so tired out!

Number 4: The party decor was really simple and not at all impressive.

Number 5: The food served at the party (included in the party package) for the kids was the most pathetic I've seen at any party. Not even one party place came close to this. And the quantity was so pathetic.

Number 6: Basically everything right from the start till the end of the party seemed to be disorganized and chaotic.

I would not recommend anyone to have their party at this place for their princesses.

Okay, now time for the massive number of photos!

Thank you all aunties, uncles and friends for your kind presents! xoxo, Kerri
