Having a craving for red meat, we jumped at the chance to have all you can eat wagyu meat at a special price of $60 nett. Where else but at the Smoke House Charcoal BBQ.
This new place at Great World City has a special concept. When you walk into the store, you will see the meat placed in the chill fridges like in a supermarket. You have to queue up and place your orders and bring your meat back to your table where you BBQ your own meat. Yes, DIY concept.
The buffet is for 90 minutes, but me and dar were out of the shop within 45 minutes. Why? Well, I didn't think the meat were really that good. Wagyu yes, but maybe they are of a lower grade. The meat were fatty with fats. Seriously, I rather head to Gyu Kaku for their meat. We didn't try the other meat like chicken or even their prawns because we wanted to save our appetite for the wagyu. And their salad didn't look at all appetitisng. And I didn't bother to try their rice and soup.
Those who are keen to try their meat, their buffet dinner promotion is until end of April and only valid from Mondays to Thursday.
