last day of Bintan Trip

I think I was the happiest to leave Bintan after 3 nights here. Bye bye Bintan. I don't think I'm heading here again. Maybe in another 7 years? Hah!

Bintan Trip day 3

There isn't much to do at Bintan in my opinion. We can't do spa or golf as the girls are with us. So our only entertainment is to enjoy the sun, sand and sea. It's beach time again for us on the 3rd day.

Lunch was instant noodles in the villa today and after lunch we head to the greens to show the girls what a golf course looks like. Apparently, they don't seem very impressed. 

For pool time, we went back to the smaller swimming area, which we prefer as it is quieter with less people, and the people there aren't as rowdy as most who use this pool are families with young children.

For our last dinner of the trip, we headed back to Rice again.

Oh and I brought along 1 whole box of sand art for the girls to entertain themselves on this trip. I don't let them do this at home as it is a messy activity for them. Hah!

Bintan Trip day 2

After breakfast, we head to the beach for some sand play. Well, at least Kae was having fun.

After a while, Kerri decided she's had enough. And she came to join me to sit and stare while having some bread.

Oh and I forgot to mention this in my earlier post, Bintan Lagoon Resort went through a transformation and the hotel's deluxe and deluxe sea facing rooms are actually refurbished. But our corporate villa still looks the same and I assume each company is responsible for their own villa, hence refurbishment is under their sole discretion.

Our lunch was at the newly opened Rice, the newest addition to the resort, poised on a stretch of the beach. While the food is of standard, the price is also not cheap.

And we are off for our daily rest in the afternoon! Before heading to the pool.

Bintan Lagoon has 2 swimming areas. We went to the smaller one yesterday, so we thought we would head to the main swimming pool today. The main swimming pool is more crowded and we had to walk one round to get my deck chairs. Hah!
