School holiday project

In true blue mummy fashion, the girls started their project work only during the last week of the 4 weeks school holidays. Oops.

Kae's theme was drama, so we thought we could make use of the cardboard box that we have at home currently to create a stage play of Charlie and Lola (a play which they just watched).

Kerri's theme was rain, so I googled for some ideas over the Internet, and decided that we would create a raincloud with falling raindrops. Raindrops keep falling on my head came to mind when I took this photo.

All done and completed within 2 days! Super!

Project Open House 2013

For this year, the project theme for Kae's class is Sand. And so, we were treated to a feast of sand related art and craft work about sand!

Project Work Open House at St James

We attended Kae's very first Project Work Open House at St James!

The kids get to choose their own project theme, so every class has different themes to work with. Kae's class chose the theme boxes, and have been toiling over the project for 2 terms.

For them, it's all about the boxes!

There were photos put up on the walls of the class too for the parents to see.

Each class is in charge of looking after a pot of plant.

And this is Kae playing happily with her BFF at St James, Alana.

And these are the 2 projects Kae did during the June holidays!

The whole range of boxes from Sunshine 5 and Sunshine 11.

The kids put on a mini performance at the end of the Project presentation.

We are so proud of Kae!
