Lucky Tuesday

I met up with dar for a last minute lunch date, and we managed to snag seats at Koh Grill & Sushi Bar. But as always, be prepared to wait for a minimum of 20 minutes for your food. Food is good as always!

And we were walking to Takashimaya Golf Section when we saw a long long queue outside Ferragamo. Yes, finally their sale is on! But I did not receive their mailer this time round. Hmmm. But as the queue was too long (as expected), I decided to forgo the sale and went on for my eyebrow appointment at Shu Umera. After I was done, I decided to head to Isetan and try my luck. As luck would have it, there was no queue, and even though there were quite a lot of people in the store, it was not as crowded as the stores at Takashimaya and Ion (where I passed by afterwards).

And as luck would have it, I was able to snag my favorite peach colored varina flats which I have been eyeing and waiting the sale for, and a pair of sissi wedges. Woohoo! So lucky that I decided to meet dar for lunch in town today!

Week full of gifts

It must have felt like Christmas week for the girls as they've received new items from us almost every day this week!

Monday: new kicks for the girls. Bought a pair of Keds and Crocs for Kae, and a pair of Pedipeds for Kerri.

Tuesday: Not Too Big was having their clearance sale, and I managed to buy apparels for the girls at real decent prices! 4 Milk on the Rocks items at $10 a piece, and 8 Joules items (including 6 dresses) at 50% off!

Wednesday: Their frozen bags arrived and they were absolutely delighted!

Thursday: Some apparel from Cotton On Kids.

Friday: The loot I ordered from Disney.com finally arrived! It all started out with me trying to get hold of the Frozen figurines for Kerri's birthday cake. And then the girls saw the website and decided they wanted some soft toys as well. And then I decided they should have some princess costumes and so I ordered a Belle and Sofia costume for Kerri and Kae respectively.

Kerri's Belle costume fit her just fine! But Kae's Sofia costumes was simply too wide for her. I could even squeeze the dress in! Argh.

And then on Saturday, I decided the girls need a pair of running shoes, and we braved through the huge crowd at Takashimaya (as there was a store wide additional 10% discount off for card members) and bought them their first running shoes!

Elly!

And so I went down to Elly's at around 11am since they are having a sale, and guess what, lots of people were there queuing to pay! As I was in a hurry, i had to head back again in the evening. But no matter, as I managed to snag what I really want to buy for my girls. Lovely chevron dresses!

My present for Me

I was walking around in town today, and feeling a bit down. Coz I will be turning another year older. Sigh. And as there was a queue outside Chanel, I kept walking and popped into the store next door instead.

And I came out with my birthday present for myself. My 1st Celine Nano. Yup, a gift from myself to me. I'm a happy mama today. Heh.

Another TB buy

Tory Burch was having their President's Day special, where you get a 25% off all items with a minimum spend of USD300. And so I spent.

I love my loot!

My new red hot Love!

It all started when C said she is heading to Paris and asked if I need any help in buying any bags. Yes, the bags from Europe are always cheaper. Even without the claim of the VAT. So, imagine my disappointment and her frustration (as she queued for quite a while to get into the 2nd shop) when she was told by the salesperson that the 1 bag per person per 2 months policy is in force. But I was really relived too that she bought her bag first, if not, I would have felt really bad.

And so, because of that, when Tasche and Beutel announced their concierge service again, I just had to make an order.

And after weeks of contemplating, I finally had my mind decided on the distressed leather 2.55 reissue in size 226. I was thinking of getting the black with ghw but since I have a black boy, I decided for another color, which blew me away instantly when I saw it online.

Presenting my red lady love, fresh from Paris of the 13P collection!

They had their 30% discount off all shoes recently, and I went on a crazy spree, and bought the girls 2 pairs of shoes each.

I am so loving their shoes now! Joyfolie rules!

3rd Chanel Earrings

My 3rd pair of Chanel earrings. This was bought just after Xmas, intended to be worn for CNY. Yup, I'm just trying to find an excuse to justify my purchase. Hah! This buying is getting super addictive.

Missy Messy

I forgot how I chanced upon this website, but I am glad I did. Missy Messy is an online store selling girls' dresses with a low cost high quality concept. Their dresses are made only when orders are placed. With a friendly price tag for such excellent quality and customer service, I will be buying from them again definitely.

My loots for the girls: the black dress for Kae and the purple dress for Kerri.

Elly - for the Boys

I've been Elly store and I simply love the dresses for the girls. I bought the girls their 2 cheongsams for CNY last week, but this post is more for the boys.

I always think boys clothes are super boring, and mummies with boys are so lucky they need not spend too much money on the monotonous clothes in the market. Until I saw what Elly has in the store. Look at all the cute prints! So cute that I had to ask my friend who has a boy to take a look at their collection! Hah! And yes, my factory is closed.

So mummies with boys, do check out The Elly Store at Cluny Court. I'm sure you will fall in love with their clothes, just like I had.

Casa Kidi

I decided it was time to add a new furniture to Kae's room, a study table! She is still using the Ikea table for her drawing and coloring. Since she is in K1 this year, I thought it was high time for a proper studying place.

And we found the perfect piece at Casa Kidi! It is made of solid wood, and is very very sturdy. We actually went to Piccolo House and Little Wode to see their study tables, but while the former is lacking in the hutch, the latter's piece with the hutch did not impress us.
Casa Kidi is huge! And I definitely recommend anyone who is looking for kids' furniture to at least venture down to Casa Kidi and take a look. They have a play area for kids to enjoy themselves while the parents take their time to browse through the furniture.

They have a huge range of furniture for kids of all ages, including the infants. Accessories available too!

Bicycle Hunting

Yes, Every kid should have a great bike.

We are now hunting for Kae's very 1st bicycle. After having used the strider, her sense of balance is quite good. So good that we bought her a 2 wheel scooter instead of a 3 wheeler. and now it's time for her to learn cycling. One of the 1st few choices would have to be from Treknology Bikes.

And for Kae's height, she is to take a 20 inch wheeler! Haha! Okay, maybe if she already knows how to ride, we'll take a 20 inch wheeler. But for now, since she is just starting to learn how to ride a bicycle, we thought it will be better for her to take the 16 inch wheeler instead.

Viola! This is the bicycle we are considering of buying. The Mystic 16 in pink color.

Kae tried on the 16 inch wheeler. I must say she is very enthusiastic about learning to ride.

We are still considering other brands which I will blog about when we do get down to viewing the bicycles.

Treknology Bikes is really huge! They have a mega storeroom at Alexandra which was the one we went to today. They have another flagship store at Tanglin Place. A huge range of bicycles to choose from for bike lovers. And there is a huge range of kids accessories too! But hey, what do I know about cycling? I don't even know how to cycle! Heh heh.

Shopping for Goodie Packs

Shopping for party loot bags is always a headache for me. And this time, I have to buy for the 30 kids (including Kae) in Kae's class. Argh!

And the theme she chose for her class party is Disney Fairies. And by theme, I only bought the Disney Fairies loot bags and ordered a Disney Fairies cake from Polar Cakes. Heh heh. That's me. I don't spend too much on loot bags.
