My present for Me

I was walking around in town today, and feeling a bit down. Coz I will be turning another year older. Sigh. And as there was a queue outside Chanel, I kept walking and popped into the store next door instead.

And I came out with my birthday present for myself. My 1st Celine Nano. Yup, a gift from myself to me. I'm a happy mama today. Heh.

My new red hot Love!

It all started when C said she is heading to Paris and asked if I need any help in buying any bags. Yes, the bags from Europe are always cheaper. Even without the claim of the VAT. So, imagine my disappointment and her frustration (as she queued for quite a while to get into the 2nd shop) when she was told by the salesperson that the 1 bag per person per 2 months policy is in force. But I was really relived too that she bought her bag first, if not, I would have felt really bad.

And so, because of that, when Tasche and Beutel announced their concierge service again, I just had to make an order.

And after weeks of contemplating, I finally had my mind decided on the distressed leather 2.55 reissue in size 226. I was thinking of getting the black with ghw but since I have a black boy, I decided for another color, which blew me away instantly when I saw it online.

Presenting my red lady love, fresh from Paris of the 13P collection!

my new CC

This is my last big buy of the year. My lovely clutch. I knew I had to get it when Tasche and Beutel announced their Chanel Concierge Service for classic flaps in October. Their fees and charges are transparent and you will know exactly how much you will be paying. Once in Paris, they kept me up to date with their smses, and kept me informed of the different colors available so I can choose wisely even though I gave them only 2 color choices. That is what I call great customer service!

My initial choices of a deep red or black caviar clutch became a dark blue navy (color code 94015) lambskin clutch. The blue is so dark it looks like a black most of the time, unless in sunlight. I'm glad I bought the lambskin rather than the caviar; the leather is so smooth! And like what they advised, lambskin looks more elegant and formal compared to a caviar clutch. Thank you Tasche and Beutel!

1st Net-A-Porter Purchase

My very first purchase from Net-A-Porter!

More specifically, my black and blue items!

I have been thinking and thinking about them for like 3-4 months now before deciding to take the plunge to buy them. Yup, that's me! A procrastinator! All good though! Which means I don't regret my purchases!

2nd bag of the year

A sure sign that I need a new carrier: I've used the same bag (my Loewe) for 3 consecutive CNYs, 2009-2011.

And thanks to dar, I finally got D bag(s) I've been waiting for!

Okay, this I paid from my own pocket, but the money in my pocket is from him anyway. Thanks to Sophia, I managed to get the Chanel Jumbo in beige at a cheaper price from London in April! And before the recent price hike too!

And I just got Tod's D-Styling Bauletto Medio (in camel hue I think) today as my anniversary(s) gift! Thank you Taka for having a 10% discount! Heehee.
