Tanglin Tree

There aren't many child friendly eating places in Singapore. By child friendly, I mean eating places whereby there's a changing/diaper room for toddlers, a kid's toilet for young children, ample baby/high chairs, and a place for the kids to play at while the parents eat at the tables.

Tanglin Tree is considered a semi child friendly eating place in my opinion. There is a sandy playground area for the older kids to play at just next to the dining area. For the young toddlers, there are actually toys for them to play at the non sandy area. The only complaint I have of this place is that there are no diaper rooms and no in house toilets!

Kaelyn enjoyed herself tremendously while playing in the swing.

While Kerri was stuck with me taking photos to amuse ourselves.

The food is actually quite decent. We did consider having Kerri's 1st birthday at this place, but it is just too expensive for us. Overall a nice place to gather with your friends with their kids, where you can chill with a beer while the kids play themselves silly at the playground.

Baumkuchen from Juchheim

Tried the baumkuchen at Juchheim today. Juchheim is currently located at the Basement Food Area at Takashimaya.

It's a traditional German cake, made famous in Japan. You can visit here to learn more about it.

Long story short, yummy is the word! You got to try it.

Twice in a week!

And off to the zoo Kae went, twice in a week!

It so happened that we managed to snatch the free tickets provided by dar's company in the same week Kae's school organized a trip to the zoo.

Kae had so much fun at the zoo. As we went together with her beloved cousins.

More so at the water play area. Water play has always been her favorite activity.

As for Kerri, she just sat in her stroller quietly, and looked at everyone curiously, and wondered what was happening around her.

Ballerina Kae

We went for a ballet trial class today.

Kae has been talking about learning ballet ever since her friends in school told her they are learning ballet. And she still remember the photo I showed her of Miki doing the ballet pose.

She loves the class. Although she was quite stoned for a moment in class, I can see from her face she was really happy to be dancing with other friends.

So, Kae is now on her way to be a ballerina.
