We finally collected the keys to our new place today.

our 1st Staycation

We ventured into new territory and went for our first staycation as a famiy of 4.

Why new? Because the 2 girls have never slept in the same room together. So it would be very challenging for us to manage the 2 girls sleeping in the same room while on the staycation.

We chose to stay at Amara Sanctuary Resort located in Sentosa, so Kaelyn could enjoy herself at the beach playing with sand and soaking in the sea, well sort of. For Kerri, it was her first contact with sand ever, and she wasn't very taken by it. As usual, daddy was the one in charge of sand and water play.

The girls loved the room. It was very spacious for us.

Kaelyn especially loved it when we go for hotel stays. I've lost count of how many hotel stays she had since birth. Heh. To her, hotel stays meant sand, water, and fun all day long.

And what a view we had from our 4th (and highest) level balcony.

More family staycations to come! All in preparation for future family overseas holidays!

Mother's Day Pamper Session

For mother's day this year, the school organized a pampering session for the mother. The children were taught to give a shoulder massage using a massager, followed by a nice hand massage using hand lotion.

I was the first mummy to arrive, and Kae was obviously in her shy mood. But she pampered me in the end with very nice massages!

Happy belated mother's day to all mummies out there!

a sad Mother's day

It's a sad mother's day for my family this year. My maternal grandmother was called up to heaven.

Rest in peace Por Por. We will miss you.
