Munmm Munmm

Kaelyn is really quite fickle about her food i must say.

Since the last update, we have bought several new foods for her to try. She loved this vegetable rice cereal today. She had 6 tablespoons! But she didn't want any when we introduced this to her a few days ago. Hope she still loves it tomorrow. I tried this and it tastes like dry seaweed. Eee. Yes, I eat everything that my Kae puts into her mouth. Heeheehee. Some baby food are seriously yummie!

I think the organic rice cereal that we just bought for her taste not good at all. I would not eat this if I have a choice. She only had 1 and 1/2 tbsp of it. Sigh, I will have to finish the whole packet if she retains her taste.

But the food that she "hates" most is the pureed pimpkin and sweetcorn! Her face really "screwed" up after each and every mouth. I managed to "squeeze" 1 tbsp worth into her.

Hmm. Maybe she will be fickle-minded again, and munmm munmm everything dry tomorrow :)

Ouch Ouch

It's been 2 days since Kae fell from the bed. So far so good. No bruises, no unusual crying, no vomitting, no fitting.

Somehow, I feel very guilty. I mean, she fell from the bed while I was still sleeping. If I was awake, she wouldn't have fall. Now I keep thinking: did she hit her head? What if she damage some part of her brain? No there were no bruises on her head, nor any part of her body. Sigh.

Lesson learnt. No more sleeping on the job, literally. :(

Ouch

Kae fell from the bed this morning!

I was sleeping and she was already awake. Imagine my horror when I was awakened by her cries and I can't see her on the bed! My heart bled loh.

But she's okay now. The nurse after checking with my pd, called to say that we have to monitor the situation for the next 48 hours. And to bring her straight to A&E if she starts vomitting or going into a fit. Even if we do bring her to the hospital, all they can do is a skull scan, which is not advisable for a toddler, with the rays and what nought.

No bruises, no unusual crying, no vomitting, no fitting. Crossing my fingers, another 24 hours to go.

Happieeeeeeee!

It is the end of another loooooooooong week. Kae was waking very frequently in the nights in the early week, and I was damn stressed. Not enough sleep for the whole week. Luckily she got better on thur and fri.

My highlight of the loooooooooooooong week: The Dark Knight, Napa Aire, and meeting up with my primary school classmates. Yes, PRIMARY school. Heehee. The response I (and my classmates) would get when we tell others who we were meeting is usually: Hur, primary school, sure or not? I guess people usually keep in contact with friends they know at secondary, junior college and university levels, but very very unlikely with friends you know when you are 12 years old. So the people I met up with today are whom I've known since I was 7 years old. And 1 of them I've known since I was 5. Amazing hur? We will be meeting up soon hopefully.

The Dark Knight is a kick ass movie. Everyone should watch it! Kudos to Health Ledger, who put up a fantastic impersonation as the Joker. It is a pity that a talent like him passed on so early in his prime.

And I finally bought my Napa Aire! Heeheehee.

It had been a good weekend indeed.
