It's the one week holidays, and I was looking to occupy Kae's time instead of just staying at home the whole day. And so today, we are going to watch the Cat in the Hat!
But first, lunch with daddy at Ippudo Tao.
Frankly, I prefer the version from Ippudo at Mandarin Gallery.
As there was still time, we headed to Canele for some after lunch desserts. And yes, Kae finished 90% of the super rich chocolate mousse.
Me and dar shared the chocolate croissant. And yes, usually when we have chocolate food, dar is the one who does the ordering.

And it was time to say bye bye to daddy, and hello to the cat!
It was our first time at the DBS Arts Centre, Home of the Singapore Repertory Theatre. Yes mine too.
I loved to watch plays when I was schooling. Maybe that developed from my study of english literature when I was in secondary school. But then I stopped going to plays in junior college. Maybe it's time to revisit this love of mine together with my other love, Kae. She was absolutely psyched about watching the Cat!
And the play was seriously good! I could literally see the story come to life with the brilliant stage act by the performers. And Kae loved the play and asked if she could watch it again!
The Cat in the Hat runs from 22 Aug - 30 Sept 2012. So grab your tickets here fast! Most shows have few seats left!
