We finally decided to head down to Grub for dinner. We were prepared for a bit of wait as it seems that it is a very popular cafe nestled right at Bishan Park 1.
When we reached, we were told to get a queue number from the machine which was quite cool. We had to key in the number of people and our contact number as they will buzz us when a table is available. And so, we did, and head off for a stroll in the park. Not before some photo taking.
I haven't been to Bishan Park in ages, especially after since it was revamped. The whole park looks nothing like the old Bishan Park. One complain after it though is that the walk trail/space is quite narrow and not wide enough for a comfortable scoot and ride experience. I worry the girls will bang into people or ride into the pond if we do scoot here next time.
And the wait did take quite long. Think we waited for nearly 80 minutes for a table! Yes! No kidding! The girls were getting so restless!
First order of the day when we did get our table, beer!
I do like their food. We had their waffle which was so light and fluffy that we ordered a second one immediately after we gulped it down.
And their cheeseburger was one of the best I've had in a long time! Yums!
I just wish the waiting time wasn't so long. Sigh.
