Blips and Bumps

I got wind of certain happenings today. Okay, maybe not today. But yesterday or today or whenever it happened. I felt my heart sinking to the bottom. I just felt numb from top to bottom. I could only escape from the numbness during my 60 minutes of hot hatha.

How does one pick oneself up when one felt like the whole world was against him/her? How does one react when the one thing he/she thought would never ever happened just became true?

It is a gloomy day. Even the weather agreed.

Looking forward to another sunny day tomorrow.

Kitties 2014

And the kitties have arrived! This time round, I opted for the $80 package which includes delivery of all 6 kitties, 6 $5 McDonald's coupons, and a commemorative 40th anniversary file with certificate. I told the girls I would only order 1 set since their previous kitties are now all in storage somewhere in the house. Luckily, they are fine with this arrangement. Guess who chose which?

Lee's Taiwanese

With nowhere to head to, and bored of the usual places we head for dinner, we decided to drive to The Star Vista to find food. And we stumbled upon Lee's Taiwanese.

Of course I had to order their Century Egg Tofu (I'm on a tofu century egg spree ever since I stepped foot into Koh Grill and Sushi Bar). Tofu was silky and cold, and together with the century eggs and some food shavings, the whole dish was my favorite of the night.

My main course was the Pig Intestines and Meat Balls Mee Sua. Though it taste quite authentic, I still prefer the one I had in Taipei.

One must try is their chicken chop. One of the better Taiwanese chicken chop I've tasted, well at least compared to the small Taiwanese eateries found in Singapore. I'll definitely order this again if we do return for food.

A day of Rides and Scoots

With nothing planned for the day, we decided to bring the girls all the way to the East to ride their bicycles. I like ECP more than WCP for bicycle riding as I find the paths at WCP narrower and the place seemed to be more crowded. We like to hang around the area nearer to Changi side, right at Sunset Bay.

We had an impromptu dinner date with the Guis, and the kiddos had fun scooting with one another. I can't wait for Athena to grow and join them! Though that will mean that Kae will be in primary school then. Kerri and Td had fun playing with each other and TD was trying to let Kerri hear some alarm tunes in this picture. So much fun they had, that TD gave Kerri her 1st surprise kiss when we were heading home! Haha!

Kerri also had her 1st pizza during dinner tonight. She really is game for any food tasting nowadays.
