We went to Dragonfly to finish up our remaining half bottle of Vodka. And we were seated at the same table as our previous time there. What a coincidence! Anyway, this time round, it is just me, Aud, Jas and Charlene. The songs sung tonight at DF were not to our liking. Sigh. Found it a bit boring. Haha. So, we didn't order more drinks to get high. Hah. But I had a green apple vodka shot, courtesy of Aud. I thought that it tasted quite yummy actually. Hah.
After 2 disappointing sets at DF, we headed to Boiler Room, as we could only exchange our drink coupons there; we entered via BR as it was raining, and that was the only entrance, besides Movida and Bar None, that was sheltered. We were hyped up when we entered BR, as they were playing, guess what, retro music. Haha. So much for our plans to go Mambo in April. Should just go BR, where we won't feel so old. Oh, and the tiger beer at BR was super nice! It doesn't taste as gassy as those canned ones, and is super cold! Yum!
We stayed for an hour at BR, and decided it was time to head home. Too crowded; we will go there earlier next time, before 9pm! As you need not pay for cover then. Haha. Oh, and thanks to Aud and Jas for the dinner at Modesto's! :)
