We started off our fourth day in Taipei with brunch at 鼎泰豐. As in Singapore, they have quite a few outlets in Taipei; I think we went to the Fuxing branch which is located at the Fuxing Sogo Departmental Store.
People always comment that the standard of food served in 鼎泰豐 Taipei is way better than that served in Singapore. So, you can imagine how "eager" we were to find out if that was true. Sad to say, we thought that the standard, especially the xiaolongbao is not much different. After our trip, someone commented that we should have gone to the first and original branch located at Xinyi. Okay, please go there instead if you happen to be in Taipei next time.
After lunch, we went to 佳德糕餅 to buy some pastries! More specifically, their 鳳梨酥 pineapple pastry and their 太陽餅 sun cakes, of which, I LOVE LOVE LOVE the latter. I cannot stress that enough. Any kind soul who is heading for Taipei can help me by some back please?
