We went for a weekend stay at Capella Singapore Resort located at Sentosa island.
It's for 3 occasions actually: our Rom anniversary, Father's Day and Kerri's upcoming 2nd birthday.
Having said that, though we did not expect much from the hotel, I was quite appalled when nothing, not even a box of chocolates, was given as their kind gesture to us for our celebrations. Well, at least for our Rom anniversary and Kerri's birthday. They did ask the hubs when they called to confirm the reservation if we were celebrating any special occasion with the resort stay. Well, if you had to ask, you should at least showed that you listened. WTF? For the price we are paying no less. I would head back to Fullerton for our 4th stay anytime.
Okay, enough of the unhappiness. The hotel room was huge. As you can see from the photos below.
After their afternoon nap, the girls immediately went to the pool. To Kae, a hotel stay means she gets to swim.
In the evening, we headed to the Library for some snacks.
We did nothing much during the stay actually. Besides just heading out to Palawan Beach for dinner at the food court, we stayed at the room while the girls doodled and play with whatever we brought along.
And it's swim time again, for both of them the next morning!
Not the best experience so far. Maybe I expected too much from this luxury hotel. I still love Fullerton (stayed there 3 times), followed by Ritz Carlton (stayed there twice).
