Kerri went for her very first field trip today! And since it's the school hoildays, mummy and Kaelyn tagged along too! Kid's Kampong, here we come!
The girls were really excited! Especially Kerri as she was so happy that jie jie and mummy were with her in school in the morning. Though I am not sure if she did know what was happening.
Kid's Kampong is located at Pasir Ris, which is very very very near to our old place, like a minute drive away! And yet, we've never been there the 6 years we stayed there. What an irony.
Upon reaching, the person in charge had us all seated, and he went on to explain what was going to happen.
In a nutshell, it's just bringing the kids around to see all the animals they have at the farm, namely, rabbits, fishes, geese, chickens. Then, the kids will roam around and feed the animals. Finally, each kid will be given a net and a small pail to catch fishes which they can bring home thereafter.
The fish were really hungry!
And I saw a rabbit twirling in the air! Pity I didn't whip out my camera in time.
I was trying to explain to Kae the difference between a rooster and a chicken. But I think she was too engrossed in throwing them food instead.
The only animal the kids were allowed to touch was the goose. And Kae was brave enough to do just that!
And finally, time for Kae's favorite; catching fishes! Kerri had a great time too! And Kae outdid herself by catching 6! Haha! Mummy can't even catch 1!
