Bali 2013 Day 2 Part 2

Dinner tonight was at Kudeta. I was actually pleasantly surprised at how small the popular tourist spot is compared to Potato Head Beach Club. Seriously, I would think that Potato Head Beach Club would have been a more popular choice with tourists.

When we reached around sunset time, many people were just sitting around, waiting to see the magnificent view. But today was quite cloudy, so the view was not fantastic.

The restaurant area was behind where the outdoor space is.

Their prices are more expensive than Potato Head Beach Club, and luckily for us, the food were much better executed too. This is more of a fine dining kind of place, whereas the other is a more casual place which served more bistro food.

Bread was quite good.

I had their passionfruit cum mango (?) martino while dar had their expresso martini. I thought mine tasted better. His had a chocolate milk taste which I didn't fancy.

Both me and dar ordered their fish dishes. While both tasted good, I loved mine better, a sweet black miso cod fish (the 2nd picture).

It was very dark in the restaurant, with very dim lightings. It was a wonder I managed to eat with the low lights!

Oh, and one thing about Bali restaurants, you cannot bring your own water. They will check your bags before you head in to see if you have. So, we have to order water in every restaurant we go to.

Upon reaching the resort, we walked around and found ourselves at Woo Bar. There was a guest DJ that night and there were quite a lot of partying people there. The music was too loud, and hence we did not stay for a drink. But I wonder, won't the loud music affect the guests who are staying in the hotel rooms, as they are directly facing the Woo Bar?

We walked further on and found ourselves at the wired Business Centre. I wonder if anyone uses the facilities here.
